"Little Child" oil on board, 23"x18"
We are as little children always trying to follow Christ. We are commanded to be humble and be willing to learn. The story of Jesus Christ is not just one instance, but it is the story that we are continually being apart of: coming into Him. I was especially inspired by the scripture "Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven." In
Matthew 18:4.

Untitled, pen
Although this is not from my own original idea, (my reference was a copy of this drawing from another artist) I feel like my structural skills in drawing this was improved, and I was able to get a better understanding of the anatomy of the hands.

St. Luke, Oil on wooden board, acrylic paint, 6"x6" *
St. Luke, one of Christ's apostles, is also portrayed as an ox in symbol and also the patron saint of artists. I painted this as a present for my sister, who is also an artist and a Christian. Combined with the religious and artistic symbolism, this gift contains significant meaning for my family and I.
